The four lower Snake River dams have been at the forefront of discussions concerning Columbia Basin ESA listed salmon and steelhead…calling for the breaching of the dams as the answer to improving fish populations. Mostly a regional topic, we’ve seen the conversation move to the federal level in the last 3 years. Leslie is an active member in the Columbia Basin Collaborative Work Groups and is also participating in a federal mediation process convened by the Biden Administration’s Council on Environmental Quality.
